1. Items We May Review

Moonlight Collectibles may review trading cards, sealed trading card products, sports cards, graded cards, collectibles, memorabilia, toys, games, comics, accessories, and other hobby-related products. We may decline any item or collection at our discretion based on category, condition, authenticity concerns, demand, inventory levels, resale restrictions, or business needs.

2. Market Value and Offer Range

Market value is determined using confirmed comparable sold listings and other reliable completed-sale data available at the time of review. Active asking prices, unsold listings, speculative prices, and unverifiable private sales do not establish market value.

For approved items, Moonlight Collectibles may offer any percentage within a 70%–85% range of the confirmed current sold-comp market value. The percentage may vary anywhere within that range and is not guaranteed. The final percentage and offer depend on the collection, product type, market demand, quantity, condition, authenticity, liquidity, sales history, expected selling time, platform costs, processing requirements, and all other applicable determinations.

Bulk collections, duplicates, low-demand items, damaged items, incomplete products, or items requiring extensive sorting may receive a lower effective offer or may be declined.

3. Condition, Authenticity, and Final Inspection

All preliminary estimates are subject to physical inspection. Moonlight Collectibles may revise or withdraw an estimate if the received item differs from photographs or descriptions, has undisclosed damage, is incomplete, shows signs of alteration or tampering, cannot be authenticated, or does not match the submitted information.

Moonlight Collectibles does not purchase counterfeit, stolen, fraudulently obtained, or unlawfully possessed property.

4. Seller Eligibility and Ownership

• The seller must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to sell the property.
• A valid government-issued photo ID may be required.
• The seller must sign Moonlight Collectibles’ Seller Authenticity, Ownership, and Lawful Possession Declaration before a purchase is completed or payment is released.
• The seller represents that the items are authentic, lawfully owned, free of liens and third-party claims, and accurately described.

5. Mandatory Signed Seller Declaration

Every seller must complete and sign a Seller Authenticity, Ownership, and Lawful Possession Declaration covering all items included in the transaction. By signing, the seller certifies that:

• The seller is the lawful owner of the items or has documented legal authority from the lawful owner to sell them.
• The items are not stolen, fraudulently obtained, unlawfully possessed, subject to a lien, pledged to another party, or involved in an unresolved ownership claim.
• All products represented as official or authentic are genuine original products and are not counterfeit, proxy, replica, reproduction, unauthorized copy, altered substitute, or imitation products.
• Any sealed product has not been resealed, searched, weighed for undisclosed advantage, tampered with, reconstructed, or altered unless that fact is clearly disclosed in writing before the appraisal.
• All material information provided about authenticity, origin, condition, completeness, alterations, grading, and ownership is accurate to the seller’s knowledge.
• Moonlight Collectibles may refuse the transaction, withhold or stop payment where legally permitted, and report suspected stolen or counterfeit property to appropriate authorities or affected rights holders.

The declaration must identify the seller and the items or attached inventory list and must include the seller’s handwritten signature or valid electronic signature and the date signed. An unsigned declaration is not valid, and Moonlight Collectibles will not complete the purchase or release payment without it.

6. Appraisal and Inspection Fees

There is no fee for an ordinary initial purchase review. If a submission requires exceptional research, authentication, sorting, inventory preparation, third-party services, or other substantial work, Moonlight Collectibles will disclose any proposed fee in writing before that paid work begins. No exceptional service fee will be charged without the seller’s prior approval.

7. In-Person and Shipped Submissions

In-person submissions are accepted only during posted business hours or as otherwise arranged. Items should not be shipped until Moonlight Collectibles provides written submission instructions.

The seller is responsible for inbound shipping, secure packaging, tracking, and adequate insurance. Risk of loss remains with the seller until the shipment is confirmed delivered to Moonlight Collectibles. Moonlight Collectibles is not responsible for carrier delay, loss, theft, or transit damage occurring before confirmed delivery.

8. Review Timeline

Moonlight Collectibles generally completes reviews within seven business days after receiving all items and required information. Large, complex, high-value, or authentication-sensitive submissions may require additional time. Any stated timeline is an estimate and not a guarantee.

9. Written Offer and Acceptance

Approved offers will be provided by email and may include an itemized or grouped valuation. Unless the written offer expressly states otherwise, the seller must accept or reject the offer within 72 hours (three calendar days) from the timestamp shown on the offer email. Collectible market values can change quickly, and an unanswered offer expires automatically at the end of that period.

The seller must affirmatively accept the written offer. Silence does not constitute acceptance, and ownership does not transfer to Moonlight Collectibles merely because the items were submitted for review.

10. Payment

After written acceptance, completion of required documentation, and final verification, Moonlight Collectibles will issue payment using an approved method stated in the offer. Available methods may include cash, Zelle, business check, or store credit, depending on the transaction. Payment timing and method may vary based on transaction size, verification requirements, banking availability, and applicable law.

11. Declined Offers and Return of Items

If the seller rejects the offer, the seller must, within the same 72-hour response period, either arrange to pick up the items or provide a prepaid, trackable, and adequately insured return-shipping label acceptable to Moonlight Collectibles. The seller is responsible for all return shipping, insurance, carrier, and related charges. Moonlight Collectibles will not ship items at its own expense.

If the seller does not respond within 72 hours, fails to pick up the items as arranged, or fails to provide an acceptable prepaid return label, the items will be classified as unclaimed pending final notice. Moonlight Collectibles will send a final written notice to the seller’s most recently provided email address or other available contact method.

The seller will then have 7 calendar days from the timestamp of the final notice to complete pickup or provide an acceptable prepaid, trackable, and adequately insured return label. This creates a maximum ordinary holding period of approximately 10 calendar days after the original offer email. Moonlight Collectibles is not required to store unclaimed merchandise indefinitely. If the seller takes no required action within the final 7-day period, the merchandise will be treated as abandoned to the fullest extent permitted by the signed submission agreement and applicable New York law. Moonlight Collectibles may then sell, donate, recycle, discard, or otherwise lawfully dispose of the merchandise and may deduct legally permitted shipping, storage, processing, or disposition costs. Any proceeds or property that must legally be retained, reported, or remitted will be handled as required by applicable law.

12. Offer Withdrawal and Transaction Refusal

Moonlight Collectibles may withdraw an offer or refuse a transaction before payment if authenticity, ownership, identity, condition, fraud, compliance, pricing, or other material concerns arise.

If Moonlight Collectibles reasonably suspects that an item is stolen, counterfeit, a proxy, replica, reproduction, unauthorized copy, resealed, fraudulently altered, or otherwise unlawful, Moonlight Collectibles may preserve and retain the item as potential evidence, notify the seller, suspend the transaction and payment, and report the matter to local law enforcement, the relevant rights holder, manufacturer, grading company, marketplace, or other appropriate authority. Seller identification, contact information, the signed declaration, transaction records, and submission information may be provided when required or legally permitted. Suspected unlawful items may be surrendered to or retained at the direction of law enforcement or another legally authorized authority and will not be returned while a lawful investigation, hold, seizure, or evidence-preservation request remains pending.

13. Privacy and Records

Seller information and transaction records may be retained for verification, accounting, fraud prevention, tax, regulatory, and legal purposes. Personal information will be handled according to the Moonlight Collectibles Privacy Policy and applicable law.

14. Agreement and Policy Updates

Submitting items after receiving or being directed to this policy confirms that the seller has reviewed these terms. The version provided or published at the time Moonlight Collectibles authorizes the submission will govern that submission. Moonlight Collectibles may update this policy for future submissions.
