Preorder Policy
Thank you for choosing Moonlight Collectibles for your preorder. This policy explains how preorders are processed, allocated, shipped, canceled, and fulfilled.

📦 Important Preorder Shipping Notice
Please pay close attention to product release dates before placing your preorder.
Many preorder products are released on different dates, even when they are announced as part of the same product line or product launch.
If your order contains multiple preorder products with different release dates, your order will be held and shipped only after the final preorder item has been released and received by Moonlight Collectibles.
To receive products sooner, we strongly recommend placing separate orders for products sharing the same release date.
If you later request separate shipments for products within the same order, additional shipping charges may apply.

What Is a Preorder?
A preorder allows customers to reserve products before they are officially released.
Payment is collected at checkout to reserve inventory and secure your place in our fulfillment queue.
Submitting a preorder does not guarantee immediate shipment. Orders ship only after inventory has been received from our authorized distributors.
Payment & Reservation
Your preorder reservation is confirmed once payment has been successfully processed.
Moonlight Collectibles uses preorder demand to forecast inventory requirements and secure product allocations from manufacturers and authorized distributors.
Once a preorder is placed, an inventory replenishment request, supplier commitment, purchasing commitment, or other inventory obligation may be created based on customer demand.
Distributor Allocations
Many collectible products are distributed using allocation programs established by manufacturers and authorized distributors.
While Moonlight Collectibles carefully plans inventory and does not intentionally oversell products, final quantities are determined by our distribution partners.
Allocation confirmations are typically received approximately 5–7 days before the official product release date, although timing may vary by manufacturer, distributor, or product.
If Moonlight Collectibles receives less inventory than the quantity ordered, the available quantity may be fulfilled and shipped, and the remaining unfulfilled quantity may be refunded to the original payment method.
For example, if a customer orders 10 units and Moonlight Collectibles receives enough inventory to fulfill only 2 units, the 2 available units may be shipped and the remaining 8 units refunded.
If no inventory is received for the product, the affected preorder item or order may be canceled and refunded by Moonlight Collectibles.
Customers may learn of an allocation adjustment through a partial fulfillment, cancellation notice, shipment confirmation, or refund notification. Moonlight Collectibles does not guarantee advance individual consultation regarding allocation reductions.
Release Dates
Manufacturer release dates are estimates and are subject to change without notice.
Product availability may be affected by manufacturing delays, distributor processing, transportation delays, customs, weather, allocation adjustments, or other circumstances beyond our control.
Official release dates are not guaranteed shipping or delivery dates.
Our distributors may ship preorder inventory to Moonlight Collectibles on or after the official release date. Customer orders are processed after the applicable inventory has been physically received, verified, and entered into Moonlight Collectibles inventory.
Multiple Preorder Items & Combined Orders
If your order contains multiple preorder products with different release dates, your order will be held until every preorder item in that order has been released and received by Moonlight Collectibles.
To avoid unnecessary shipping delays, we strongly recommend placing separate orders for products that share the same release date.
Customers requesting multiple shipments from a single preorder order may be responsible for additional shipping charges.
Separate orders are not automatically combined. If you would like to request combined shipping, please contact us before fulfillment begins. Approval is not guaranteed, and shipping adjustments may apply.
Order Cancellation Terms
Preorders are subject to Moonlight Collectibles' universal Order Cancellation Policy, which applies to all order types.
This includes regular in-stock orders, preorders, backorders, special orders, allocated products, limited-release products, and any other order placed with Moonlight Collectibles.
Cancellation Requests Within 24 Hours
Customers may request cancellation within 24 hours of the original order placement time.
The 24-hour period begins from the order timestamp recorded by Moonlight Collectibles' ecommerce platform when the order is successfully placed.
Cancellation requests are subject to review and approval. Submitting a cancellation request does not automatically cancel an order.
If Moonlight Collectibles approves a customer-requested cancellation submitted within the 24-hour cancellation window, a 25% cancellation fee based on the total amount paid for the entire order will be deducted from the refund.
The cancellation fee is calculated using the full amount paid for the order, including merchandise, shipping, taxes, duties, fees, and any other applicable charges.
After 24 Hours
Once 24 hours have elapsed from the original order placement time, the order becomes final and is no longer eligible for standard customer-requested cancellation.
Finding a lower price elsewhere, purchasing or securing the product from another seller, market-price changes, duplicate purchasing, buyer's remorse, or simply no longer wanting the product do not create a right to cancellation after the 24-hour cancellation window.
Exceptional Circumstances After 24 Hours
In limited and exceptional circumstances, Moonlight Collectibles may, at its sole discretion, consider a cancellation request after the 24-hour cancellation window has expired.
The customer must provide a valid reason and, when requested by Moonlight Collectibles, reasonable supporting documentation or proof.
Providing a reason, documentation, or proof does not guarantee approval. Moonlight Collectibles retains sole discretion to determine whether an order and the circumstances qualify for an exception.
If Moonlight Collectibles approves an exceptional cancellation after the 24-hour window, a 35% cancellation fee based on the total amount paid for the entire order will be deducted from the refund.
The 35% cancellation fee is calculated using the full amount paid, including merchandise, shipping, taxes, duties, fees, and any other applicable charges.
Exceptional cancellation consideration is not an additional cancellation window and does not create an automatic right to cancel an order after 24 hours.
Finding a lower price elsewhere, purchasing or securing the product from another seller, market-price changes, duplicate purchasing, buyer's remorse, or simply no longer wanting the product are not considered exceptional circumstances.
Cancellation Fee Calculation
Moonlight Collectibles calculates cancellation fees using the total amount paid for the entire order, including merchandise, shipping, taxes, duties, fees, and any other applicable charges.
This method of calculating cancellation fees from the full amount paid has been part of Moonlight Collectibles' cancellation policy since its creation and has not changed.
Policy Applicable to Each Order
Every order is governed by the cancellation policy that was in effect at the time the order was placed.
Any later amendment, increase, decrease, replacement, or other modification of Moonlight Collectibles' cancellation policy will not retroactively modify the cancellation terms applicable to an existing order.
The cancellation window, cancellation fee percentage, eligibility requirements, exceptional-circumstance provisions, and all other cancellation terms applicable to an order are determined by the policy in effect when that specific order was originally placed.
These revised cancellation terms are effective September 21, 2026 and apply only to orders placed on or after that date.
Orders placed before September 21, 2026 remain governed by the cancellation policy and terms that were in effect when those orders were placed.

Moonlight-Initiated Cancellations & Allocation Shortages
Customer-requested cancellation fees do not apply when Moonlight Collectibles cancels an order because Moonlight Collectibles is unable to fulfill the applicable merchandise.
This may include manufacturer or distributor allocation reductions, product unavailability, supplier cancellations, inventory errors, or other circumstances preventing fulfillment.
If Moonlight Collectibles receives only part of the inventory necessary to fulfill an order, the available quantity may be fulfilled and the unavailable quantity refunded.
If Moonlight Collectibles receives no inventory for the affected product, the affected item or order may be canceled and the applicable amount paid by the customer refunded.
Manufacturer Changes
Manufacturers may change product packaging, artwork, promotional images, contents, configuration, release dates, or product specifications without prior notice.
Product images used during the preorder period are for illustrative purposes and may differ slightly from the final retail product.
Our Preorder Commitment
Moonlight Collectibles is committed to providing a transparent and reliable preorder experience.
We carefully monitor allocations, supplier communications, product arrivals, and fulfillment requirements.
Orders are generally processed in the order they were received, subject to available inventory and distributor allocations.
Our goal is to provide accurate information and dependable service while recognizing that final manufacturer and distributor allocations remain outside Moonlight Collectibles' direct control.
