Moonlight Collectibles Refund & Return Policy

Moonlight Collectibles stands behind the authenticity, condition, and accuracy of the items we sell. Due to the collectible, market-sensitive, randomized, and tamper-sensitive nature of many products, most collectible merchandise is final sale once shipped.

Sealed Collectibles & Trading Cards

  • Sealed trading card products, collectible packs, booster boxes, mystery products, randomized items, graded cards, raw cards, and similar collectibles are final sale once shipped.
  • Items cannot be returned after they have been opened, altered, damaged after delivery, switched, resealed, or if the factory seal has been broken.
  • We do not accept returns for change of mind, buyer's remorse, market-price changes, pull results, manufacturer packaging variations, or minor cosmetic packaging imperfections.

Accessories & Supplies

  • Return requests for eligible unopened accessories and supplies, including sleeves, binders, toploaders, card holders, and similar products, must be submitted within 3 calendar days of the carrier's confirmed delivery date.
  • Returned accessories and supplies must be unused, unopened, undamaged, and in the same condition in which they were received.
  • The buyer is responsible for return postage unless the return is due to a verified error by Moonlight Collectibles.
  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return resulted from our error.

Damaged, Incorrect, Incomplete, or Other Order Issues

  • Damaged products, incorrect products, missing items, incomplete orders, or any other fulfillment issue must be reported within 3 calendar days of the carrier's confirmed delivery date.
  • Email support@moonlightsls.com and include your order number, a clear explanation of the issue, and clear photos of the product, packing slip, shipping box, shipping label, packaging materials, and any visible damage or discrepancy.
  • Retain all original packaging until the claim has been reviewed and resolved.
  • Depending on the circumstances and available inventory, an approved resolution may include replacement, store credit, partial refund, or a refund to the original payment method.
  • Failure to report an eligible return request, damaged item, incorrect item, missing item, or other fulfillment issue within the required three-day period may result in the request being denied.

Manufacturer Defects

Factory defects, printing errors, missing manufacturer contents, packaging imperfections, factory-seal variations, and manufacturer quality-control issues are generally the responsibility of the manufacturer unless otherwise required by law.

Moonlight Collectibles may provide available manufacturer contact information or claim instructions when possible, but cannot guarantee a manufacturer replacement, reimbursement, or other resolution.

Order Cancellations

This cancellation policy applies to all orders placed with Moonlight Collectibles. This includes, without limitation, regular in-stock orders, preorders, backorders, special orders, allocated products, limited-release products, and any other order type.

Cancellation Requests Within 24 Hours

  • Customers may request cancellation of an order within 24 hours of the original order placement time.
  • The 24-hour cancellation period begins from the order timestamp recorded by Moonlight Collectibles' ecommerce platform at the time the order is successfully placed.
  • Cancellation requests are subject to review and approval by Moonlight Collectibles. Submitting a cancellation request does not automatically cancel an order.
  • If Moonlight Collectibles approves a customer-requested cancellation submitted within the 24-hour cancellation window, a 25% cancellation fee based on the total amount paid for the entire order will be deducted from the refund.
  • The cancellation fee is calculated using the full amount paid for the order, including merchandise, shipping, taxes, duties, fees, and any other applicable charges associated with the transaction.

Orders After the 24-Hour Cancellation Window

  • Once 24 hours have elapsed from the original order placement time, the order becomes final and is no longer eligible for standard customer-requested cancellation.
  • This rule applies regardless of whether the order is for an in-stock product, preorder, backorder, special order, allocated product, limited-release product, or any other type of merchandise.
  • Finding the product at a lower price elsewhere, purchasing or securing the product from another seller, changes in market value, duplicate purchasing, buyer's remorse, or simply no longer wanting the product do not create a right to cancellation after the 24-hour cancellation window.

Exceptional Circumstances After 24 Hours

  • In limited and exceptional circumstances, Moonlight Collectibles may, at its sole discretion, consider a cancellation request after the 24-hour cancellation window has expired.
  • The customer must provide a valid reason for the requested exception and, when requested by Moonlight Collectibles, reasonable supporting documentation or proof.
  • Submission of a cancellation request, explanation, documentation, or other supporting information does not guarantee approval. Moonlight Collectibles retains sole discretion to determine whether the circumstances and order qualify for an exception.
  • If Moonlight Collectibles approves an exceptional cancellation after the 24-hour cancellation window, a 35% cancellation fee based on the total amount paid for the entire order will be deducted from the refund.
  • The 35% exceptional cancellation fee is calculated using the full amount paid for the order, including merchandise, shipping, taxes, duties, fees, and any other applicable charges associated with the transaction.
  • The availability of an exceptional cancellation is not guaranteed and should not be interpreted as an additional cancellation window or an automatic right to cancel an order after 24 hours.
  • Finding a lower price elsewhere, purchasing or securing the product from another seller, changes in market value, duplicate purchasing, buyer's remorse, or simply no longer wanting the product are not considered exceptional circumstances.

Cancellation Fee Calculation

Moonlight Collectibles calculates applicable cancellation fees using the total amount paid for the entire order, including merchandise, shipping, taxes, duties, fees, and any other applicable charges.

This calculation method has been part of Moonlight Collectibles' cancellation policy since its creation and has not changed.

Policy Applicable to Each Order

Every order is governed by the cancellation policy that was in effect at the time the order was placed.

Any later amendment, increase, decrease, replacement, or other modification of Moonlight Collectibles' cancellation policy will not retroactively change the cancellation terms applicable to an existing order.

The cancellation window, cancellation fee percentage, eligibility requirements, exceptions, and all other cancellation terms applicable to an order are determined by the policy in effect when that specific order was originally placed.

Moonlight-Initiated Cancellations

The customer-requested cancellation fees described above do not apply when Moonlight Collectibles cancels an order because Moonlight Collectibles is unable to fulfill the order.

This may include, but is not limited to, manufacturer or distributor allocation reductions, product unavailability, inventory errors, supplier cancellations, or other fulfillment circumstances beyond Moonlight Collectibles' reasonable control.

In such circumstances, the applicable amount paid by the customer will be refunded in accordance with the circumstances of the order and applicable law.

Preorders, Backorders, Special Orders & Allocated Products

  • Preorders, backorders, special orders, allocated products, limited-release products, and similar orders are subject to the same universal Order Cancellation Policy stated above.
  • Manufacturer release dates are estimates and are not guaranteed shipping or delivery dates.
  • Manufacturer and distributor allocations may change after an order is placed.
  • If Moonlight Collectibles is unable to fulfill an order because sufficient inventory is not allocated or supplied to us, the affected item or order may be canceled by Moonlight Collectibles and the applicable amount paid by the customer will be refunded.
  • Customer-requested cancellation fees do not apply when Moonlight Collectibles cancels an order because the applicable inventory cannot be supplied.

Order Cancellation Policy Effective Date: September 21, 2026.

These revised cancellation terms apply only to orders placed on or after September 21, 2026. Orders placed before this effective date remain governed by the cancellation policy and cancellation terms that were in effect at the time those orders were placed.

Mystery Boxes, Randomized Items & Blind Products

  • Mystery boxes, randomized products, blind packs, curated repacks, surprise items, and similar products are final sale once shipped, opened, or if the seal has been broken.
  • Specific cards, characters, players, parallels, autographs, chase items, grades, values, pull rates, or outcomes are not guaranteed unless expressly stated in the product listing.

Non-Returnable Items

  • Opened sealed trading card products
  • Opened packs, boxes, mystery products, or randomized items
  • Raw trading cards
  • Graded trading cards
  • Gift cards
  • Digital products, if offered
  • Clearance or final-sale merchandise
  • Personalized, custom, modified, or special-order products
  • Items altered, switched, resealed, or damaged after delivery

Return Authorization

All eligible return requests must be submitted within 3 calendar days of the carrier's confirmed delivery date and must receive written authorization from Moonlight Collectibles before any item is sent back.

Items returned without prior authorization may be refused, returned to the sender, or determined ineligible for refund.

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for securely packaging authorized returns and using a trackable shipping service. Shipping insurance is strongly recommended for higher-value returns.

Moonlight Collectibles is not responsible for returned items that are lost, damaged, delayed, or misdirected while being shipped back to us.

Refund Timing

Approved refunds are generally submitted to the original payment method within 10–20 business days after the returned item is received and inspected, or after the claim is approved when no physical return is required.

Banks, card issuers, and payment providers may require additional time to post the refund.

Fraud Prevention

Moonlight Collectibles may inspect returned merchandise for authenticity and condition. Items determined to have been altered, counterfeited, switched, resealed, tampered with, or otherwise not matching the merchandise originally shipped will not qualify for a refund.
