💰 Sell to Moonlight Collectibles

Turn Your Collection Into Cash

Whether you are selling a single grail card, sealed products, graded slabs, bulk cards, store inventory, or an entire collection, Moonlight Collectibles provides a clear, secure, and professional selling process.

Every submission is reviewed carefully so we can evaluate authenticity, condition, demand, recent market activity, and resale potential before presenting an offer.

💵 How Offers Are Determined

Market value is established using confirmed comparable sold listings and other reliable completed-sale data available at the time of review. Active asking prices, unsold listings, speculative prices, and unverifiable private sales do not establish market value.

For approved items, Moonlight Collectibles may offer any percentage within a 70%–85% range of the confirmed current sold-comp market value. The percentage may be 70%, 73%, 79%, 82%, 85%, or any other percentage within that range and is not guaranteed. The final percentage and offer depend on the collection, product type, demand, quantity, condition, authenticity, liquidity, sales history, expected selling time, processing requirements, platform costs, and all other applicable determinations.

✅ What We Buy

Moonlight Collectibles reviews a wide range of collectible inventory. The categories below are examples of items we commonly consider, but acceptance is not limited to these products.

  • Pokémon cards
  • Sports cards
  • Magic: The Gathering
  • Yu-Gi-Oh!
  • One Piece Card Game
  • Disney Lorcana
  • Other trading card games
  • Graded cards from PSA, CGC, TAG, BGS, SGC, and similar companies
  • Sealed booster boxes, Elite Trainer Boxes, tins, blisters, and collection boxes
  • Bulk card collections
  • Complete collections
  • Store inventory
  • Collector estates
  • Other collectible products reviewed case by case

If an item or category is not listed, you may still submit it for evaluation. Acceptance depends on authenticity, condition, quantity, demand, market value, liquidity, and resale potential.

🔍 How the Selling Process Works

1. Submit Your Request

Send clear photos, an inventory list when available, estimated quantities, condition details, and any other relevant information about the items.

2. Initial Review

We review the information provided to determine whether the submission fits our current buying needs. Submitting a request does not guarantee acceptance or an offer.

3. Preliminary Offer or Next Steps

When enough information is available, we may provide a preliminary market-based offer or explain what additional information or inspection is required.

4. Ship or Arrange Local Drop-Off

If you choose to continue, we will provide shipping instructions or arrange local drop-off during posted business hours. Contacting us in advance is strongly recommended for large collections or submissions requiring dedicated review time.

5. Secure Inspection

Incoming items may be photographed or video recorded during opening, inventory verification, authentication, condition review, and documentation.

6. Final Offer and Payment

After inspection, we will confirm or revise the offer based on the items actually received. Once the final offer is accepted and all required documentation, including the mandatory signed Seller Authenticity, Ownership, and Lawful Possession Declaration, is complete, payment is typically issued within 3 business days.

7. Respond to the Final Offer

The seller must accept or reject the final offer within 72 hours (three calendar days) from the timestamp shown on the offer email. An unanswered offer expires automatically at the end of that period.

Important: Preliminary estimates and offers are not final. The final offer is based on the authenticity, condition, quantity, completeness, and identity of the items received.

💳 Payment Options

  • PayPal
  • ACH or bank transfer
  • Zelle when applicable
  • Cash for approved local transactions
  • Business check when applicable
  • Store credit when applicable

Available payment methods may vary based on transaction value, location, verification requirements, and the nature of the purchase.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

How long does it take to receive an offer?

Initial review times vary based on the size, complexity, quality, and detail of the submission. When physical inspection is required, most evaluations require a minimum of seven days after the items are received, processed, and the review has officially started. Larger or more complex submissions may take longer.

What types of collections do you purchase?

We review individual cards, sealed products, bulk lots, full collections, store inventory, estate collections, and other collectible assets. If you are unsure whether your items qualify, submit a request for case-by-case review.

Do you buy bulk?

Yes. Bulk acceptance and pricing depend on product type, quantity, condition, language, set, demand, organization, and the overall mix.

Who is responsible for shipping?

The seller is responsible for shipping costs unless Moonlight Collectibles agrees otherwise in writing before the items are sent. The seller is also responsible for secure packaging, accurate tracking, and any desired shipping insurance.

Is there an inspection fee?

There is no fee for an ordinary initial purchase review. If a submission requires exceptional research, authentication, sorting, inventory preparation, third-party services, or other substantial work, any proposed fee will be disclosed in writing before that paid work begins. No exceptional service fee will be charged without the seller’s prior approval.

Is my offer guaranteed?

No. Initial offers and estimates are based on the information provided. Final offers are confirmed only after inspection and may be adjusted if items differ from the original submission, are damaged, incomplete, counterfeit, altered, missing, or otherwise not as described.

What happens if I decline the final offer?

Within the same 72-hour response period, you must arrange to pick up the items or provide an acceptable prepaid, trackable, and adequately insured return-shipping label. You remain responsible for return shipping, insurance, carrier charges, and any other previously approved charges. Moonlight Collectibles will not ship items back at its own expense.

What happens if I do not respond or retrieve my items?

After the 72-hour offer period expires, Moonlight Collectibles will send a final written notice. You will then have 7 calendar days from the timestamp of that final notice to complete pickup or provide an acceptable prepaid, trackable, and adequately insured return label. If no required action is taken, the merchandise may be treated as abandoned and handled as permitted by the signed submission agreement and applicable New York law. Moonlight Collectibles is not required to store unclaimed merchandise indefinitely.

Can I choose consignment instead?

Yes. If consignment may provide a better option, we can explain the available purchase and consignment paths before you decide.

Do you accept walk-in collection evaluations?

Local drop-off is available during posted business hours, but advance contact is strongly recommended for collection evaluations, large submissions, estate collections, or services requiring dedicated time. Items may need to be left for review and are not guaranteed to be evaluated immediately.

🔒 Trust, Verification & Security

Moonlight Collectibles may document incoming submissions through photographs, video, inventory records, weight records, correspondence, and inspection notes. Items are reviewed for authenticity, condition, quantity, completeness, and consistency with the original submission.

Every seller must sign Moonlight Collectibles’ Seller Authenticity, Ownership, and Lawful Possession Declaration before a purchase is completed or payment is released. The declaration confirms that the seller owns the merchandise or has documented legal authority to sell it and that products represented as official are genuine original products—not stolen, counterfeit, proxy, replica, reproduction, unauthorized copy, resealed, tampered, or otherwise unlawful.

If Moonlight Collectibles reasonably suspects that an item is stolen, counterfeit, a proxy, replica, reproduction, unauthorized copy, resealed, fraudulently altered, or otherwise unlawful, we may suspend the transaction and payment, preserve the item as potential evidence, notify the seller, and report the matter to local law enforcement, the appropriate rights holder, manufacturer, grading company, marketplace, or other authorized party. Seller identification, contact information, the signed declaration, and transaction records may be provided when required or legally permitted. Suspected unlawful items may be surrendered to or retained at the direction of law enforcement or another legally authorized authority.

📄 Policy Agreement Required

Before submitting merchandise, review the complete Sell to Moonlight Collectibles – Purchase & Appraisal Policy. Submitting a request or delivering or shipping merchandise after receiving the policy confirms that you have reviewed the terms applicable to your submission. No purchase will be completed and no payment will be released until all required documentation has been completed and signed.
